-depending on choice of style of course. It is very important to feel comfortable in the clothes we wear and very important we feel great while wearing it; because if we don't feel good about what we wear, what good is wearing clothes in the first place?

| Here we see not only a nice way to break all the yellow, but we also see the accentuated waist in a fun simple way. |

I liked how you say we need to be comfortable, that is also an important part about fashion. Being able to feel confident because that is what will make the outfit work, if you feel like you feel glamours, then you are set to walk the "runway."
ReplyDeleteHowever, the only thing i wasn't to sure about is having the blue belt and blue accessories, i feel as if the colors would clash, and really mess up the meaning of the outfit.
I think you are right about choosing clothes that we feel comfortable in. The more comfortable we are in clothes, the more confident we are when we walk outside with them. How we wear them can either praise our image or ruin our image, so choosing the right colors and the right amount of accessories is logical :)
ReplyDeleteA blue belt with this yellow dress would look amazing. A pair of blue pumps and a white clutch and you got yourself an outfit missy! Yellow and blue are both primary colors and they are harmonious when placed next to each other!!
ReplyDeleteIm glad you agree Erica, adding the white clutch would look really nice! But what color would you choose with the yellow Marisol?? :)
ReplyDeleteNot in any form do I consider myself to be a fashion designer but I have and will keep designing clothes for women. The women figure is just beautiful and its awesome to draw it. I'll keep this type of thing in mind next time I design a yellow dress :).
ReplyDeleteMe personally I love the color brown, for me i think different shades of brown can go with any color. so with the yellow i would go with either a darker brown or maybe a rusty light brown belt, with cream/brownish shoes, with a single necklace.
ReplyDeleteor maybe you can throw in a small over the shoulder pocketbook.
So is designing dresses one of your hobbies Julio? Cause your majoring in graphic or something right?
ReplyDeleteNow that you mention it, the brown would look nice, a little toned down and safe, but I could really see it working well together.
I'm not much for fashion,i wear whatever i feel is comfortable. As far as confidence goes self confidence is something that comes from inside. I don't think any particular outfit or piece of magical clothing is going to make me any more or less confident, maybe i'm wrong and i just don't get the connection.
ReplyDeletei'm with Robert, i don't get it.
DeleteUh hi. I'm no fashion critic. First i hate critics, second if i were into fashion i might have a girlfriend. I know i'm rather blunt but i really don't know what to say. I suppose you might add a yellow spring hat with a white hat band, but like i said i don't do fashion.
